"Common Folk" Folk Club (19/02/2009)
Hi Stuart, Paula, Kathryn and Sarah,
Just a mail, to thank you for a lovely evening at Common
Folk. You were really well received by the audience and
the turn out proved how popular you are in our area.
Your material is diverse, your musicianship is excellent
and your harmonies are amazing and beautiful. All this
combined with your warmth and stage presence, make
"The Tindalls" an essential booking for any venue.
So once again "thank you."
Hope the girl's exams go well, but don't ever neglect the

.Warwick Folk festival (July 2008)
Hello Stuart and family. Just back from Warwick.
An amazing festival with some equally amazing acts -
including your family.
I listened to you all for the first time in the Theatre on
Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised - thought
the harmonies and musicianship was excellent.
Some very moving renditions.
Excellent solos by you all.
Its very hard to realise that your family is so young when
you hear the maturity in the voices of your daughters.
So many potentially successful years ahead.
I really do hope that you all manage to stay together and
develop as a group.
Best wishes for the remainder of the season.

At Cropredy 2010:
This album does what it says on the package.
"Stop what you're doing and play it!".
It's essential listening from a very talented family
group, great vocals, great selection of songs,
The production is crisp and thoughtful. From
start to finish the selection of tracks holds your
attention and often surprises you with some
excellent versions of new and classic songs.
This is a rare event, an album that you will listen
to time and time again.

Another big THANK YOU for last night at Common Folk.
It is really difficult to put so much praise for you all into words.
It was just a wonderful night.
You have something unique on that stage and in your performance.
It was such a polished and professional performance that it is hard to
believe that Sarah and Kathryn are only young girls.
You all come across as equals on the stage.
We know that if they want to, Sarah and Kathryn will be up there at
the top with the likes of Kate Rusby. No doubt about it.
We hope that they will
then return to Common Folk and do us a concert.
(If we can afford them).

What a lovely unaffected family, and what a change to see children
willing to perform and to use their talents in such a confident and
positive way. It is well known that harmonies blend best with family
members and, together with each of their individual instrumental
skills, they produced some lovely songs. Different groupings added
interest and variation to their sets and overall reflected a
professionalism which only comes from years of performing live.
|We're still taking bookings for 2016/17 although may
perform as a duo, 3 or 4 some dependant on Sarah's
and Kathryn's availability.
If you are looking to book us, just drop me an e-mail and
we'll see if we can fit it in.
